Partnership

Question:

I am purchasing a junior partnership in a pharmacy. Can I use the same accountant as the vendor?
This question was asked on 31 January 2010

Expert Response

We strongly recommend that the vendor and the purchaser use different accountants. Professionally it's a conflict of interest for the accountant. However, it is prudent for both parties to receive independent advice.

Also, make sure your advisers have pharmacy expertise.
